  1. A guests' opinion:
Kate is a very nice person and a great hostess. When we arrived, she and her husband waited us near the entrance. They bought flowes and a bottle of hungarian vine for us and some fruits. Then they kindly picked us up to an Exchange office in the city center. Kate gave us a lot of useful info and advices on our arrival and then by e-mail as
    well.

As to the appartment, the room is big, clean, equipped and well maintained, Provides a feeling of being home. It has a big window and a balcony faced Benczur hotel. The street is tidy and quiet.
The kitchenette is very small, but surprisingly it has everything you need for simple tourist cooking. In fact, you do everything you need just standing on one place. We liked this idea of the kitchenette. Unfortunately it has no any window or ventilation. The WiFi worked properly. When we had questions or problems, we wrote a mail to Kate
and she promptly responded. The check-out performed smoothly as the check-in. We said which time we prefer to leave and Kate's husband came exactly at that time in order to take the key and tell us good bye. Thanks to Kate and her husband we had a wonderful staying in Budapest.
The building is simple, but it is OK. The only thing we didn't like is the lobby of the building. For some reason the garbage bins are kept in the lobby. But the lobby is clean and has an elevator. The pictures of the apartment on the site are very honest and reliable. What you see is really what you get.
The neibourhood is very good, quiet, nice and safe.
There are 2 food stores 20 meters from the apartment. It takes 5 minutes walking to Bajza metro station or 7 minutes to Hosok tere station (yellow line). Some of "must" sites are within walking distance: Fine Art museum, Heroes Square, Secheni therms, City Park with it's castles. In other direction, it takes 10 minutes to the "very center" by metro or 30 minutes walking. To the Opera it takes 5 minutes by metro or 20 minutes walking. At least once you have to go to the center by foot along Andrassy street. It is beautiful.

    Some tips.
    1. Ask for instructions for using of gas stove. It works properly, but there is some secret you have to know.
    2. Ticket office on Baiza metro station is usually closed, so if you have no tickets, go to the Hosok tere station.
    3. Explore the apartment surroundings- a lot of beautiful and well maintained buildings, various embassies and of course-wonderful City Park.
    4. If you don't want to have your meals at home, there are 2 little places to eat in 20 meters from the apartment and Platan restaurant on the parallel street.
    Enjoy!
